Basketball Pictures (Bailey)

Bailey is playing on a fourth grade basketball team, the Owls, this winter.  She's continuing to play with the team (and Coach Josh) that she has played with for a few seasons now.  This season they are playing up a grade, meaning that they play fifth graders.  It's more challenging, of course, but they have really held their own this season.  

Todd Riggins is a wonderful local photographer (check out Frozen in Time Photography) who graciously offered to photograph two of the girls games recently.  Here are some great shots of Bailey:

I should mention that the pictures in her blue uniform were from her best game this season.  She played aggressively and scored a basket (shown in pictures!).

Best Friends

Brooks had a long play date at the house today! It was Kindergarten Round-Up at school so that meant current Kindergarteners didn't have class today.  Brooks's friend and classmate, Bennett, spent the day with us. Bowen adores Bennett also, so the three boys had a blast playing all day. 

Brooks brought these sweet notes home from Bennett yesterday. My favorite part is how Bennett erased "I love my mom and dad" to write "Brooks is the best." Ha!
